Attire

Proper dress is very important, not only for the Chauffeur, but for the vehicle as well. The first thing the prospective client sees, depending on the pick up schedule, is either the car or the chauffeur. There are times when the client will be waiting for the car outside. It has been my experience in this instance, that the client will look at the overall appearance of the car, then his eyes will go straight to the wheels! Clean them up! Nice and shiney!, condition them! The chauffeur with a neat appearance has a better chance of being requested for services than one slovenly attired. Keep it simple, not flashy, tone it down, black suit, white starched shirt, black tie, or maybe a slight bit of color, (red, blue, or silver).
I hate those little chauffeur caps, I prefer a nice Homburg, and that is the preferred head wear for my company, and chauffeurs. You would be surprised how many people, and prospective clients stop you to tell you how well dressed you are!
