A $777,000 Maybach luxury limousine was stolen Wednesday outside of a restaurant in Moscow as its owner ate dinner inside.

A special gang is suspected in the theft, police say, and could be destined for Ukraine or Kazakhstan.

The super-rich in Russia have adopted the Maybach as the pinnacle in status symbols, with only a few dozen in existence there. Until now, there have been no reports of a Maybach theft.
